Jany Martínez-Ward Recognized as Marquis Emerging Leader: A Trailblazing Journey in Law and Advocacy.

The Ward Law Group proudly announces that Ms. Jany Martínez-Ward, Founding and Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for her outstanding contributions to the field of law and unwavering dedication to community advocacy.

This prestigious acknowledgment highlights Ms. Martínez-Ward's remarkable journey from overcoming personal challenges to establishing one of Florida's largest and most successful personal injury law firms.

She started her journey as an immigrant at the age of 15, fleeing danger in her home country by traveling across the Texas–Mexico border with her mother and eight-month-old brother.

Despite initial difficulties with language and legal issues, her tenacity and willpower cleared the path for her success. Her interest in law was piqued by seeing her mother being detained and going through the foster care system, which inspired her to assist her community's legal needs.

A crucial component of Ms. Martínez-Ward's journey was her pursuit of education. 2011 saw her earn a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law after graduating cum laude from the University of Florida with dual degrees in Spanish literature and psychology.

Fresh out of law school, she and her husband, Gregory Ward, founded The Ward Law Group in 2012. The firm has been dedicated to providing personal injury law services to Hispanic immigrants affected by car accidents due to negligence.

As the founder, managing partner, and chief marketing officer, her leadership has been instrumental in the firm's growth, with a focus on advocating for and representing the Hispanic community.

In addition to providing legal services, Ms. Martínez-Ward actively interacts with the Hispanic community by answering legal queries and concerns on radio and television.

She is in charge of a group offering clients all-encompassing support, ensuring they get fair compensation for monetary losses, missed wages, and psychological suffering.

Annual initiatives like Back-to-School donation drives, Thanksgiving turkey giveaways, and support for Venezuelan children are just a few examples of the company's dedication to community service.

Thanks to her hard work, Ms. Jany Martínez-Ward has received many honors; in 2022, Best Lawyers named her Lawyer of the Year. Her invitation to contribute a chapter to the 10th edition of Florida Civil Practice Before Trial by the Florida Bar Association shows that her contributions are not limited to the legal field.

In the future, she hopes to serve 800 clients each month, surpassing the $50 million yearly revenue mark, and grow the business to include Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Her overarching objectives are to support those battling for fundamental human rights and to advocate on behalf of displaced people around the world.

She wants to create a nonprofit organization that protects and helps displaced immigrants, living up to the belief that "anything is possible with faith," which has guided her throughout her life.

Jany Martínez-Ward's designation as a Marquis Emerging Leader indicates her exceptional legal skills and deep influence on the lives of the people she assists. Her transformation from an immigrant to a skilled lawyer and advocate is an inspiration, emulating the principles of Ward Law Group in changing the community and beyond.
