About Joseph R. D'Addario
Joseph R. D’Addario is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly three decades of experience representing individuals and families seriously injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents, general negligence, medical malpractice, unsafe premises, and defective products.
Mr. D’Addario began his legal career at some of New York City’s most prominent plaintiffs’ trial firms, developing a strong foundation in complex, high-stakes litigation. His early work included product liability and mass tort litigation involving pharmaceutical drugs, asbestos exposure, and other defective products, honing his skills in expert-driven, multi-district and multi-party litigation.
Throughout his career, Mr. D’Addario has handled a broad range of contested personal injury matters. In addition to motor vehicle and premises liability cases, his practice has included medical malpractice and product liability actions involving automotive defects and recalls, industrial machinery, defective consumer products, and contaminated food.
Mr. D’Addario brings extensive courtroom experience to his practice, having successfully tried cases throughout New York City and Long Island. Working both independently and in close collaboration with fellow trial counsel, he has played an integral role in securing hundreds of millions of dollars in combined verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients. His litigation practice extends from initial investigation through trial and appellate advocacy.

Community Involvement
Joe remains actively involved in his East Islip community. He founded Islip Travel Baseball in 2007, and its teams compete as the Islip Owls throughout New York and beyond. From 2022 to 2025, he served as President of the East Islip High School Athletic Booster Club, working to support student-athletes and school programs.
Personal
Joe and his wife, Aileen, have four children: Andrew, Thomas, Matthew, and Julianna.
