About donna silverglad
Donna R. Silverglad is a seasoned trial attorney based in New York City. Ms. Silverglad attended SUNY Binghamton where she received her B.A. in Economics and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate at St. John’s University School of Law, where she was on Dean’s list and graduated in the top third of her class.
Ms. Silverglad had two uncles who were personal injury lawyers and admired how they fought to obtain justice for those who had suffered injuries through no fault of their own.
After law school, Ms. Silverglad began her career at a small family-run personal injury firm where she honed her legal skills. Ms. Silverglad, for four years, served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York defending medical malpractice cases brought against the State of New York and served as an Agency Attorney, for seven years, at the New York City Department of Education prosecuting teachers and other union staff for misconduct against students and staff.
Ultimately, Ms. Silverglad realized that these areas, while extremely worthwhile and necessary, were not her true passion and wanted to return to representing victims of accidents.
